Does cold calling still really work?

Our Opening Approach (opening script) says that, “…The reason I’m specifically calling you today is that our clients consistently report back that their sales have increased because their sales team doubled or better the number of Initial Appointments they were setting after going through one of our programs. If we’ve never failed to increase the number of appointments being set, it stands to reason that there are appointments being set, right? Ergo, cold calling does work and I can prove it.
